Tre Monti Vigna Rocca Albana 2020

Albana maybe the noblest white grape you’ve never heard of. Once the official wine of the Roman court of Ravenna, Tre Monti makes low-intervention Albana that presents as both traditional and radically new, including this skin-contact version. Intense aromas of apricot jam, ginger and cedar are front and center, while on the smooth, rounded palate, tangy, vibrant acidity lifts ripe yellow peach, pineapple juice and hazelnut flavors before a savory, almost salty finish.
