GD Vajra Langhe Nebbiolo 2024

Some ripping bang for buck to be found here. Vajra's Langhe Nebbiolo is primed to over-deliver for what one would consider the family's most informal take on Piemonte's mighty grape. Sourced from the estate's youngest Nebbiolo vines, the punchy yet measured nose delivers open knit elements of cassis, wild red berries, crushed rose and lavender, though the overall mouthfeel remains somewhat more precise and linear thanks to a core of drying mineral notes. An impeccable and harmonious bottle laced with plump, perfumed fruit that pairs outstanding length with accessible style.
