Francesco Rinaldi Barolo Cannubi 2018

The Cannubi vineyard is one of the first sites in Barolo to ripen, and the wines tend to show enormous elegance and Nebbiolo fruit purity.  The 2018 is bright and effusive, as wines from this cru tend to be; the Rinaldis' offers fine depth and tons of site characters, both of which were hard to achieve in this vintage. Crushed flowers, spice, new leather and macerated cherry are some of the aromatic notes that soar from the glass.
