Even in a sometimes "challenging" vintage in Tuscany, Veronica's Chianti DOCG s a wave of dark and red cherry fruit, pleasantly chewy, and endlessly refreshing on the palate, with haunting blue flowers and tobacco on the nose and a flavor architecture perfectly framed by dusty tannins. Veronica recently revived the property's century-old underground concrete fermenters, which helps author this wine's irresistible freshness and vivid fruit.
